Mobile apps are not new, they have in fact been around since the birth of the mobile phone (anyone remember snake?).
Apps are a great way to interact with your client base and provide information to them in a modern and engaging format. But they can also provide great customer research, marketing and if required they can provide an additional source of revenue. But does your business “need” one?
The answer is that many business don’t need an app, but you also don’t “need” light bulbs, candles work perfectly well. People often don’t chose to modernize because they need but embracing new technology can be a major benefit in a competitive marketplace.. Apps can help your traditional business move forward with the times and provide information in a format people are coming to expect. An app should add value to your existing business and integrate seamlessly with your current operations, but you shouldn’t look to an app to reinvent your company as this would be a detriment to your ongoing success.
